How do I even begin to describe my Mamaw and Papaw? As I sit here I am speechless, all I feel are tears running down my cheeks. They are two of the most incredible people I have ever known, and I love them more as time passes. Ask anyone, they will tell you the same thing. They celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary this past weekend, hard to believe right? 70 years. I can't imagine 70 years of life with someone. What a beautiful testament to faith and true love. I had the honor of sharing in the day and snapping a few pictures. They are as much in love now as they were 70 years ago. You can see it. I wanted to share something that my Mamaw wrote to my Papaw a few years ago, I think this says it all...
We were two crazy kids when we decided that we would marry and have a family. So you went to work and in a very short time, you had two rooms of furniture that was yours and mine. Your Mother said, "Son you will need a guide, so buy you a Bible to carry by your side." So you bought you a Bible and wore the pages thin, that was about the time our life really began. God gave us Wilma and Shannon- that gave us such joy, we said, "just think- we have a girl and a boy." Then December 7th in 41 Uncle Sam said there's a war, and you'll have to come. Then in about two years and a half, you had to leave your children and wife. You served your country away from us three but God watched over your family- the war was over and you were free. God added four girls to our family (Sharon, Connie, Pam and Rhonda) You had to work hard and the years were lean, but we had faith and God fulfilled our dream. Then God gave us grandchildren to love and adore. For two crazy kids, who could ask for more. Our children are all gone and we are alone- but I thank God for making these two rooms a home! Thanks for being a wonderful Daddy and the best husband in the world.
Happy 70th Anniversary Mamaw and Papaw. I love you with all my heart.

Ava Grace
Meet Ava, one of the most beautiful little girls I've ever met. I was thrilled when her Mama asked me to come over to play! She has the sweetest personality, and always brings her smile. We met for the first time when I was shooting her Aunt's Wedding and she melted me then, I had the feeling she would do it again. :) Enjoy your sneak peek and thanks for the fun. xoxo

The Hatcher Family
Saturday morning. 8 am. 30 degree weather. What were we doing? Outside taking pictures of course! I have to say, it takes some real superheros to stand out in the cold for me and my camera. That being said... I introduce you to the Hatcher Family. They are part of my family, and pretty amazing people. Believe it or not, I was a flower girl in their wedding quite a few years ago, and now their kids are taller (much taller) than me. How time flies.
I promised not to share too many on the sneak peek, so here are a few favorites. Many more coming your way. Thanks for such a fun and memorable day! :)

The Riordan Family
I love the days when it looks like rain, you cross your fingers really tight, and it holds off until the very end of a session. Those days are perfect. I met the Riordan Family downtown last weekend. This is the first time I've had a session with the entire family and we had a blast. Jack and Nicholas are two of the cutest little boys I know... and the funniest. They kept me laughing the entire time. Thanks for asking me to play. :) Enjoy.

Heather and Robby Wedding Sneak Peek
Heather and Robby are two of the most kind people I have ever met. I don't say that lightly. They are just... good people. I will never forget the first time we met at Starbucks, we ended up sitting and talking for hours. I guess it also helps they are from West Virginia. :) We just clicked. On their Wedding Day they made me feel like part of the family. Thank you for everything, I had a blast getting to know you both. I wish you many blessings in the years to come.
Here's a peek into their day.
A penny for good luck.
They didn't want to see each other before the Wedding, so we had a way to get them close without peeking. They were adorable.
